WEEK 7: REFLECTIONS ON MIS LECTURE AND SEMINAR

WEEK 7 : LECTURE

This weeks lecture took us through the requirements for the group assignment and how to make our work standout. We went through the focus of the business case which include: introduction to the assignment and the business case, identify the problems the business is having, identify three problems and suggest three solutions, suggest and expand on one best solution and draw conclusions based on that. A good presentation software like Prezi is to be used to make the business case look professional. We were then required to make the group present the work and this is required to be video recorded.

THE SEMINAR:

The weeks seminar is scenarios in Excel using the "What-If-Analysis" feature. We did two exercises dealing with Family Budget and Student Budget .

There was also a review of the extent each group has gone with group assignment.
